We had booked Pretty Place for our wedding in September. The night before our ceremony, I received an email cancelling our reservation. After checking their Facebook Page, I realized they had posted updates before even contacting me about my cancelled wedding venue. After an entire month of unanswered emails and calls about my refund, I took to social media to warn others. I got an email the next night at 8pm disputing my refund. And I was immediately blocked from their page for posting a negative review. The Executive Director admitted to not checking his voicemail for well over a week. And made every excuse why he and his staff had failed to contact me or send my refund. I encourage people to go witness the beauty of this area, but I highly recommend against making a paid reservation. The staff is extremely unprofessional and they do not communicate anything with prospective clients.
"Pretty" doesn't even describe the place. It is gorgeous there!
It is not difficult to find and if you do, you'll be glad you did.
Worth the trip for the view whether or not one is religious. There is something breath taking and majestic about this space. It is used for weddings, special events and the occasional service. It is an often overlooked destination when visiting the Upstate, but a must see for Nature Lovers, Outdoorsman the Religious and Spiritual alike.
Absolutely gorgeous views from a rustic open-air chapel. Facilities are not completely accessible, but sufficiently so for the majority of folks using it. Photography from the pews is...challenging with the dark interior and bright outdoors.
What an awesome place to sit and admire God's creation. The view is awe inspiring! Bear in mind that there may be weddings, funerals or other private events when you try to visit. Well worth the trip!
